without a doubt, captain beefheart's trout mask replica is one of the most inspiring albums i have ever owned. the first time i heard it it was exactly what i had been searching for. crazy jangly rhythms and unlikely dischorded guitars kaleidoscoping with the capn's skeezin' out grumbly vocals and nasty nasty saxophone skills, make this particular album a VITAL part of music history. unlike anything ever. please feel free to listen to and/or download these songs(which are of my favorite), and if you do enjoy it, i suggest you seek a distributor from which to buy the entire album, as mp3 format does it a great injustice. thanks. enjoi!
